NEET (UG) 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting the NEET (UG) since 2019 on behalf of the National Medical Commission (NMC).

As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET (UG) serves as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.

Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, NEET (UG) is mandatory for admission to undergraduate courses in disciplines such as BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS in all institutions governed under this act.

Additionally, NEET UG is also applicable for admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.

MNS (Military Nursing Service) Aspirants:
Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals in 2025 are required to qualify NEET (UG). The NEET (UG) score will be used for shortlisting candidates for the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course.
As per the National Medical Commission (NMC) decision, NEET (UG) 2025 shall be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (OMR-based) in a Single Day and Single Shift.

NEET (UG) 2025 – Key Information

  • Conducting Authority: National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Purpose: Admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.

Follow these simple steps to download your NEET (UG) 2025 Admit Card:

  • Visit the official website: https://neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the "Download Admit Card 2025" link
  • Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
  • Click on Submit
  • Download and print multiple copies of your admit card

Admit Card Instructions & Guidelines

  • Candidates must appear at their own cost at the examination centre on the date and time indicated on the Admit Card issued by the NTA via its official website.
  • Candidates are strongly advised to retain their Confirmation Page, Admit Card, and Score Card of NEET (UG) – 2025 as these documents will not be available after 31 October 2025.
  • The Admit Card is issued provisionally, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
  • NTA reserves the right to withdraw permission granted inadvertently to any ineligible candidate, even if an Admit Card has already been issued.

Downloading & Using the Admit Card

  • Admit Cards must be downloaded from the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Candidates must appear only at the assigned exam centre on the specified date and time mentioned in the Admit Card.
  • If unable to download the Admit Card, candidates must contact the Help Line (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or email neetug2025@nta.ac.in.
  • Read all instructions given in the Information Bulletin and Admit Card carefully.
  • In case of any discrepancy in details like photograph or signature, report it immediately to the Help Line. You may still appear with the issued Admit Card, and NTA will rectify records later.

Important Notes:

  • Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
  • No duplicate Admit Card will be issued at the exam centre.
  • Do not mutilate or alter the Admit Card.
  • Preserve the Admit Card in good condition for future reference.
  • No Admit Card will be issued if the application is incomplete or the candidate is ineligible.
  • Admit Card issuance does not guarantee eligibility, which is subject to further scrutiny.

Instructions to be Followed in the Examination Hall

  • Reporting Time: The Examination Centre will open 3 hours before the commencement of the test (i.e., from 11:00 AM onwards). Candidates are strongly advised to reach early considering traffic, location, and weather conditions.
  • Last Entry: No candidate will be allowed entry after 1:30 PM.
  • Seating: Candidates must take their assigned seat immediately after entering the Examination Hall. If any candidate is found occupying a different seat or room, their candidature will be cancelled.
  • Admit Card Requirement: Candidates must carry a valid Admit Card and present it on demand. Entry will be denied without the Admit Card.
  • Roll Number Seat: Every candidate will be assigned a specific seat with a roll number. Candidates must occupy only the assigned seat.
  • Verification by Invigilators: During the exam, Invigilators will:
    • Check the Admit Card to verify identity
    • Sign the Answer Sheet and Attendance Sheet to confirm candidate presence

Admit Card – Do's & Don’ts

Do’s:

  • Carry printed copy of Admit Card with passport-size photo
  • Reach centre well before 1:30 PM
  • Bring a valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.)
  • Preserve the admit card safely till counselling & admission

Don’ts:

  • No entry after 1:30 PM
  • Do not mutilate, laminate or alter the admit card

  • Visit the official NEET website:

  • Login using your credentials:
    • Application Number
    • Date of Birth (DOB)
    • Security Pin (Captcha Code)
